How it works
The seller gets paid when you confirm.
Paystack takes the payment. Trust Layer keeps the order record and pays the seller out when the buyer confirms or the inspection time ends. Both sides see the same status and the same dispute process.
How money moves

Step 1: Buyer pays
Card or bank transfer through Paystack. Trust Layer records the order as Paid.
- Shipped
Step 2: Seller ships
The seller sees Paid before sending anything, then marks the order shipped.
- Buyer checking
Step 3: Buyer checks
The buyer confirms the item, or reports a problem with photos before the check time ends.
- Completed
Step 4: Seller gets paid
The amount moves to the seller’s Trust Layer balance. Bank withdrawals are not open yet.
Problem reported?
The payout pauses. A reviewer reads both sides and two admins must agree: pay the seller, refund the buyer, or split it.
If you are buying
- You pay by card or bank transfer through Paystack.
- The seller is paid only after you confirm the item or the inspection time ends.
- Check the item when it arrives. Confirm only if it matches what you ordered.
- Something wrong? Report it with photos. The seller is not paid out while a reviewer looks.
If you are selling
- Ship once the order page says the buyer has paid.
- Mark the order shipped and delivered. Add a tracking link if you have one.
- If the buyer does not report a problem in time, the order completes on its own.
- If there is a dispute, reply with what you sent and when. Two admins must agree on the outcome.

Good to know
- Payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed payment service provider in Nigeria.
- Payouts follow the order rules on this page. Nobody is paid out early because they asked.
- Trust scores come from completed transactions on Trust Layer, not paid reviews.
- Insurance is not offered yet. We will list it here when it is.
